With over 25 years of experience across public and private healthcare, we are proud to be a people-focused organisation where collaboration, continuous improvement and making a positive difference are at the heart of what we do.
We are looking for two experienced Talent Acquisition Leads to join our team, with one permanent opportunity and one 12-month fixed-term maternity cover position available.
You will be supporting recruitment across Advo Health, an important part of Ascenti Group that delivers health assessment services. Our teams bring together healthcare professionals from different clinical backgrounds, helping people navigate important health and disability assessments with professionalism, empathy and care.
Behind every great service is a great team, and that is where you come in. We are looking for experienced recruiters who love what they do, enjoy working with people and know how to deliver results in a busy recruitment environment. If you are confident managing your own vacancies, building relationships with hiring managers and creating a positive experience for candidates, we would love to hear from you.
About the role
As a Talent Acquisition Lead, you will take ownership of end-to-end recruitment across Advo Health, with a particular focus on attracting and recruiting healthcare professionals into Functional Assessor roles.
Reporting to the Senior Talent Partner, you will manage your own portfolio of vacancies, work closely with hiring managers and support candidates throughout their recruitment journey, from their first interaction with us through to offer.
This is a hands-on role where you will be trusted to manage your workload, make informed recruitment decisions and keep things moving in a fast-paced environment.
You will also be joining us at an exciting time. We are investing in new recruitment technology, developing our direct sourcing approach and introducing improvements that will make recruitment more effective for candidates, hiring managers and our Talent Team.
We want people who are confident in their recruitment expertise but equally excited about learning, sharing ideas and helping us continuously improve.
What you will be doing
- Owning the recruitment journey: Managing vacancies from initial briefing and advertising through to candidate selection, offer and handover to onboarding.
- Partnering with hiring managers: Building strong relationships, understanding recruitment requirements, providing advice and ensuring hiring managers are kept informed throughout the process.
- Attracting great candidates: Creating engaging job adverts, managing recruitment campaigns and identifying the most effective ways to reach the right people.
- Screening and interviewing: Reviewing applications, conducting structured telephone interviews and assessing candidates against role requirements.
- Delivering a great candidate experience: Coordinating interviews and assessments, gathering feedback and ensuring candidates receive clear, timely and professional communication.
- Managing recruitment pipelines: Keeping recruitment activity organised, maintaining accurate records and confidently managing multiple vacancies and competing priorities.
- Building talent pipelines: Taking a proactive approach to sourcing candidates, identifying potential talent and supporting our ambition to increase direct recruitment.
- Working with recruitment partners: Managing relationships with recruitment agencies when required, ensuring quality, consistency and an effective recruitment process.
- Using data to drive decisions: Monitoring recruitment activity, identifying trends and sharing insights that help us improve recruitment performance.
- Making recruitment better: Contributing ideas, supporting projects and helping improve our processes, systems and candidate experience.
- Working as one team: Collaborating with colleagues across Talent, People Operations and the wider business, supporting shared priorities and celebrating successes together.
What we are looking for
We are looking for experienced recruitment professionals who enjoy taking ownership, know how to manage a busy workload and take pride in delivering a great service.
You will bring:
- Proven experience in Talent Acquisition, internal recruitment or a similar recruitment-focused role, with responsibility for managing the recruitment process from start to finish.
- Experience managing multiple vacancies and delivering recruitment activity in a fast-paced or high-volume environment.
- Confidence conducting telephone interviews, assessing candidate suitability and making informed shortlisting recommendations.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships, provide recruitment advice and confidently manage expectations.
- Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to prioritise effectively when managing competing demands.
- Experience using applicant tracking systems, recruitment platforms and Microsoft Office applications.
- A proactive approach to candidate attraction, with experience or a strong understanding of direct sourcing and talent pipeline development.
- Confidence working with recruitment data, monitoring progress and using information to identify opportunities for improvement.
- The ability to work independently, take responsibility for your vacancies and maintain momentum throughout the recruitment process.
- A collaborative, solutions-focused approach and a genuine commitment to delivering a positive experience for candidates and hiring managers.
Experience recruiting healthcare professionals, particularly within high-volume or regulated recruitment environments, would be a strong advantage. However, we also welcome applications from experienced recruiters in other sectors who can demonstrate the ability to manage complex recruitment activity, build strong stakeholder relationships and deliver results.
Above all, we are looking for someone who brings energy, initiative and a genuine passion for recruitment. Someone who enjoys finding solutions, takes pride in their work and is always looking for ways to make things better.
